Retort

Taniry uses retort technology for thermal food processing for Jack fruit and sweet corn. A retort is a processing method that uses heat and pressure to sterilize food. Such processed foods are sealed in high-quality pouches that can be reheated in hot water or in a microwave before consumption. Hence traditional foods or ethnic dishes can be stored and exported to expatriates.
The lamination structure does not allow the permeation of gases from outside into the pouch. Therefore, the shelf life of Retort products will be 12 months to 36 months in ambient conditions without refrigeration.
